My gemstone/birthstone is a garnet which represents the month of January. I just presented my birthstone project today. I didn’t do it Friday because I was sick at the end of the day. The garnet gemstone is mainly red but it can be any other colour in the rainbow but the blue ones are the rarest colour of gemstones. Garnets have been used as weapons throughout history.

My plant didn’t grow yet and I left for 10 days! I am very sad that my plant didn’t grow at all!!! There isn’t even a sprout in it so I think I am going to replant mine. When I replant mine I am still going to choose a cucumber seed. … I just planted my new seed right now. First I put in some more dirt and then I put in some water. I really hope this new seed will grow.
I planted a cucumber seed 2 days ago it hasn’t sprouted yet but I still planted it. I planted it in a small cup with 1/2 of dirt in it. Then I put the seed in and added one quarter more of dirt. Then I put water in it and put it on the windowsill. Now I have to wait until it gets to big for the cup and I’ll have to take it home with me to plant in my back or front yard.

I wasn’t there the day my class planted seeds so I will do it soon. I think that you put a seed in a paper towel and wrap it up and then you put it in a plastic bag stuck to the window. I will choose a cucumber seed. I am really excited to do this experiment. Plants need sunlight, water and oxygen to grow.
The science and tech museum was very fun. There were lots of things like, guess the smell, guess the sound, guess the image etc. Some rooms there were the crazy kitchen and the sound room.
We did a pulley and gear workshop. There was a big train you could go into. I sat with Beatrice both ways on the bus as we played with Fantasy. There was a big screen with ice scenes in it in. There was also a bike thing where you ride the bike and you have to power the big light thing,it was very hard I only got 3 or 4 lights and there was 6. The science and Tech museum was very fun.
